It's so til 11. I am tired. I am fine physically but drained emotionally. I am so glad I am loved. I am so glad I have family & friends. I am so glad I have God in my life. Yesterday was stressful. I had a very distraught client who was trying very hard to find a way out of this life. He called me to share his last desires. Long story that I cant get into, but it was hard. I had the Lord to turn to for strength. I am so thankful for that. The last 24 hours have been difficult for me to understand. I had a Mary Kay function after work last night. I had my first class. It was weird. My life went on. Fortunately so did his.

I am so sorry you had a rough day... it stinks when rough days are so busy too- 'cause you can hardly process one thing before you have to move on to the next!

Who we are....

Brian and I were married May 25, 2002. He got one of those "package" deals! At the time Nathan was 16 - he is now 25 and Coral was 9 - she is 17. Our family grew in the summer of 2006 when we added Casserra who was 10 - and is now 14. We thought our family was complete, but the Lord wasn't done, so we weren't done...in September of 2009 we add 3 more wonderful children to our family. Nicole who is 16, Joshua 12, and Noah 6 (and he's strong now according to him). It's been a lot of fun! Realizing organization is the key.

Again, we thought we were done, but the Lord let us know He wasn't. We have had the opportunity to foster parent a teenage girl who was expecting and subsequently gave birth to a healthy baby boy.

We continue to be blessed with "new additions" who need a temporary home.

We hope to someday have Nathan's girlfriend Danielle as our daughter-in-law.

I work full-time as does Brian, but fortunately, we live right next door to my parents, who have been a tremendous help!

Nathan - 25

He lives in Lafayette but in October of 2008, he and his girlfriend purchased 6.5 acres. They intend to build their dream home sometime soon but in the mean time are buillding a pole barn with an apartment. He works for a construction/road construction/do it all type place and LOVES IT! He has a great job and truly enjoys what he does. He gets to play with big boy toys!

Danielle graduated in May 2008 from IUPUI and works for a large health care provider. We could not have hand picked someone better for our son! She is an amazing woman and one we hope to have in our family on a more permanent basis!
